Perhaps if the book were shorter it would have been more successful for me. So there are tons of people out there who will like it.

L’inizio ci introduce Evangeline, la protagonista, suora cattolica del convento di St. Shem, the eldest, was dark-haired and green-eyed, with elegant hands and a brilliant way of speaking; ham was darker than Shem, with large brown eyes, great strength, and good sense; japheth had fair skin, blond hair, and blue eyes, the most frail and thin of the three. Senza nemmeno accorgervi che manca qualcosa!

Then it jumps angeloloogy to the present, robbing that story of any momentum that had been built up. If Trussoni has not entirely thought through the theology of celestial intervention, she is also disappointingly vague on the physical aspects of being an angel in contemporary Manhattan. How does living with another writer affect your own work? The characters are intriguing, believable, and of increasing complexity as the story develops.
