I have read most of her Sweep series, which I loved as well. It seems too simple and bleh when I liked her. Trivia About A Necklace of Wat That awesome ultimate high u felt upon realizing it’s love.
I only picked it up because I thought it was about magic! Wishing ttiernan hadn’t ended. After having read myself through quite a share I did not really believe that surpassing the lowest of low would be possible.

I did give this book 3 stars after all, but I just felt, after knowing what a masterpiece Tiernam can write with the Sweep series, that Chalice of Wind could have been better. Thanks for telling us about the problem. It’s not that I don’t work or play well with others, but I need to decide for myself when I do a certain thing, and how I do it. I did enjoy her writing, and thought it was even better than Sweep, but so many unanswered questions at the end! In the American Library Association picked A Chalice of Wind as one of their notable children’s books for that year.

It does seem like this series was rushed and incomplete, but it’s easy to see why it sold so little: I can’t quite figure out whether there are going to be any more books in this series, but I don’t think I’ll read them since this one had enough of a ‘finished’ feeling to it to let me off.
Haven’t heard that one before! There was a lot of frenetic energy there, and sometimes that felt very wearing and hard to live with. Please share with my readers a bit about your road to publication.

Instead she saves Clio – saying that she needes her to perform the rite again – and then disappears from the novel without performing the rite! That was a huge cliffhanger. The twins must learn to work together. Shows up like anyone actually thought she was dead, after several hints were dropped toernan forcefully as a hammerrevives Clio, and disappears again.
In addition, they’re coping with the love they both feel for the same person, who has finally made his choice. The others were tienran flat, but still interesting. Me, being the book lover that will read almost anything, went “ok I’ll give it a shot. Refresh and try again. I mean, that have to be dumb if they are crushing on one guy who cheated on them at the same time with the other twin.
The first three books were great. For one thing, there aren’t enough acte shops. I admit, the last one hundred pages I was skim reading because I couldn’t stand reading another book by this author. I still had tons of questions that this book did not answer and upon finishing it immediately stalked angrily to the computer to see if there was supposed to have been a 5th book or something.
