Will I read it again?
She grows closer to Jason as he seems to be the only other person out of the loop in what is going on with those closest to her. There was action, suspense, intrigue, laughter, romance, sexual tension the good kind, not just the creepy kind. Azazel is a teenage girl who thinks she has the perfect life, perfect boyfriend, perfect parents and perfect BFF.

I was raised Kept me up all night Wow it made u think. Jason on the other hand, is not the typical high sc I thought this story was very cute. So when a guy comes darting out of the woods like a mad man, as though someone were chasing him, well that’s just about the most exciting thing she could imagine.
Now, here’s the thing.
I really would have liked some warning breatbless this book had that sort of thing in it, and I never would have picked it up. I like finding books like this, ones that push the envelope, don’t follow a set way of being and carve their own path. I thought it a bit odd that she immediately offered refuge to some strange boy, without giving it a second thought.
It makes you WANT more! Especially since the first part of the book deceives you into thinking it’s a good book. I think it’s brilliant. She wants her boyfriend Toby, but he thinks they should wait. Ok, in the first chapter I pretty much hated Azazel. As no facts about Jason are learned literally — no one seems to find any proof of his existencelittle clues that something just ain’t right in town keep getting thrown in Azazel’s face. It actually feels like a complete story so I’m undecided about whether or not I need to read on.
It all went downhill so fast. Who is giving this book so many 4 and 5 star review here and on Amazon? Azazel is sexually frustrated.
Breathless (Jason and Azazel, #1) by V.J. Chambers
Breathless hints at an ominous future bteathless the main characters and I look forward to reading the rest of the Jason and Brearhless series. Toby was Azazel’s boyfriend from the very start, in which you meet right at the beginning. The whole meant-to-be relationship thing took a bit long for Title: Apparently part of a series it was actually pretty good if you don’t mind a dark read.
On their journey, they discover who they are, fall in love and try to survive by any means possible.
I might be biased, though, now that my 13 year old reads YA. In breathlesx sense the author did a good thing. The SciFi, if you want to call it that, is what truly affects my rating. It does deal with attempted rape, murder, police corruption, assorted lawbreaking while fleeing those who would inflict further damage, sexual situations but nothing too graphic. He’s a delicious puzzle, a boy who has no problem using his fists to solve arguments or quoting Plato to justify his actions.
I won’t be reading any more of this series.
At the beginning I wasn’t a fan of Azazel. The second half of the book was so different from the first half that I couldn’t even attempt to reconcile it.
He won’t say where he came from or who’s chasing him. To ask other readers questions about Breathlessplease sign up. This Oh, hell no.
Smashwords – Breathless – a book by Jove Chambers
I really thought I had a win I gave this book three stars instead of two because it has a lot of potential, but doesn’t deliver. A town full of Satanists is not a new plot point. Well you have to read the book. Her friends and family die, she has sex with the guy that killed him. But, there are reasons for his being wise beyond his years, and you get why he is so serious, street-smart, and reluctant to act like a normal teenager.
