The Elene religion, whatever it’s actually called, is practically a functional form of Catholic Christianity transposed into a fantasy realm. The Diamond Throne is the first book in the Elenium series, and trust me it is amazing! The enchantments of the sorceress Sephrenia have kept the queen alive—but the spell is fading. David Eddings’ wife, Leigh Eddings, was an uncredited co-author on many of his early books, but he had later acknowledged that she contributed to them all. Sparhawk is a gruff, no nonsense knight and is a very loveable character.
And yet, it isn’t quite perfect. On to The Ruby Knight! I got to the end and actually went, “Wait a minute. I enjoyed the Elenium – it’s a fun, fast paced read that has the main characters bounce from one crisis to the next.

The only problem with the dxvid is that it stops on a cliff-hanger. I’m not saying it’s bad, as such, but the whole trilogy reads like a first draft.
